These sponges from the lovely people at Head in The Woods are a great replacement for your traditional yellow and green sponge scourers (which are full of microplastics). The raised surface of the fabric helps getting rid of dirt and because the sponges are dark navy they won’t look grim after only a few uses. Quite helpful when you have to wash up dishes with tomato sauce!
The fabric is very absorbent so they are also suitable for wiping surfaces.
Use and care:
Use like you would a brush. Not suitable for scouring jobs. Rinse and squeeze well after each use and wash regularly to prevent bacteria build up. The sponges can be washed at up to 60 degrees and are dryer safe.
Made of 100% cotton, the outer fabric is 100% organic. At the end of its life, it can be cut up in strips and put on the compost bin.
